MELISSA H. MARKS, D.O., FACOS
Signature Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, PLLC was founded in Palm Beach, Florida by Melissa Marks, D.O., FACOS in 2018. The experience was crafted by Dr. Marks’ vision of a personalized patient centered approach. Dr. Marks was welcomed into the Plastic Surgery community and quickly established herself as one of the most desired surgeons in the region. Dr. Marks rapidly became known for her surgical precision, beautiful symmetry, and boutique customer experience, while offering a level of intimacy that allows patients to feel extremely comfortable.
Educationally, Dr. Marks has completed extensive training in total body and face plastic surgery and non-invasive techniques so that she can offer the full array of both surgical and non-surgical treatment options to her patients. Additionally, Dr. Marks is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon recognized by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
Dr. Marks has over 10 years of surgical experience. She has completed a 5-year General Surgery Residency at McLaren Macomb Hospital, through Michigan State University and subsequently completed a highly specialized 3-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She is Board Certified in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
Recent highlights and recognitions of Dr. Marks expertise have included lecturing at several national conferences and a research publication by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She is a published author in Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America. In 2019 Dr. Marks was published in Jupiter Magazine as an Expert in Plastic Surgery of the Breast and Body and she was featured on WPBF25 news in an exclusive segment regarding a worldwide breast implant recall associated with lymphoma.
In 2023 Dr. Marks and her family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina and she reopened Signature Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Med Spa. This practice remains true to its founding principals that make Dr. Marks’ practice unique – quality care, personalized approach, and surgical expertise.
